The Importance of Using a Registered Electrician in Worcester

In terms of electrical safety, we at SMB Electrical believe that the certifying of electrical installations is a very important aspect of our work as electricians in Worcester.  Currently, having electrical certification on new electrical installations is confirmation that the work has been installed in line with BS7671 and has been tested for safety by a registered Part P electrician or building control body.  Most new electrical installations require certification with careful attention needed in special locations – these are rooms containing a bath, shower, sauna heater or swimming pool.

There is always temptation for others to 'have a go' on electrical work and we have lost count of the number of times we have been called out to rectify dangerous and poorly installed electrical work.  Whilst we understand the temptation to use one person to complete your whole job, it is not worth putting your family and home at risk.

So why use us?

Quite simply, it is for our customers peace of mind, not just for the fact they recognise NAPIT as a mark of quality but also for our belief in each and every job being carried out to a high standard and ensuring customer satisfaction at the end.

As electricians with several years experience it frustrated us to see the lack of care and attention to electrical work being carried out in peoples homes. It is our goal to provide a comprehensive electrical service that is friendly, efficient and geared towards helping home owners and small businesses in Worcestershire.

Another great reason why we would always advise using a registered electrician is that the electrical inspections are thorough, stringent and really test out our electrical knowledge.  If you use a NAPIT registered electrician, you will be sure of a safe standard of work from a person who has genuine pride in their work.
